I just love the finish on this set. The table top is light brown with dark undertones giving it such a beautifully finished color. The second photo shows the color a bit better. At 48" squared this table is perfect for a fun dinner for 4. With this set, you don't have to worry about asking the butter to be passed as it has a built in last susan. Just turn and get that butter for yourself. How fun! The chairs are a complimentary light brown linen color with nailhead trim and fully upholstered. It is amazing what dining sets are doing these days because this one is fully loaded with a large storage shelf but who are we kidding, someone is gonna make it their foot rest. If it is regularly used a a foot rest, make sure you tighten the bolts occassionnally keeping your shelf in tip top shape.
